We are a church of praying Warriors for Christ and proud of it. We build up our Men to lead that charge in the fight within the Spiritual World and here on Earth.
Why We Are
Our Worship Principles
WHY PRAYER: We are intentional in our understanding of the importance of prayer, both individually and as a church body. Everything we do is guided by the power of God through prayer because it is how we communicate directly with God, gain understanding and purpose, draw strength and clarity, and comfort when in distress.
WHY EXCELLENCE: We must be intentional to insure that we do everything with the highest possible quality as a Church in order to honor Christ. This includes always following the Bible without deviation or incorrect interpretation. We do this to be obedient to the Word of God.
WHY PURPOSE: We must be intentional to insure that every event and program is purposeful to the Lords Will and fits within the parameters of the vision, mission, and values of AOGBC; and that the purpose for our existence is clearly understood by the body. Purpose provides unity with the Church body and with Christ.
Our World Needs Strong Christian Men Again
The rise of sexual immorality, lack of society following Gods Word, and people feeling like they don't need Church or Christ is alarming. Islam and other secular religions have gained steam in America while Christianity has been on the decline.
We fully believe this is a result of a wave of Men not being the Spiritual Heads of their households. Lack of Christian and biblical influence in the Men in our society has allowed the enemy to gain a stronghold. By empowering Men and teaching them how to be the Leaders in their families, churches, workplaces and communities again, we will see those strongholds given to the enemy obliterated. Advancing the Kingdom of Christ here on Earth is up to Men first and foremost. At Armor of God Bible Church- they get equipped to do just that!
Because The Bible Commands Us To Do So
We follow the Bible's instructions for Men:
1 Corinthians 16:13-14- "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love".
1 Timothy 6:11 - "But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness."
Micah 6:8- "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
1 Timothy 3:4-5: "He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?"
Ephesians 5:25-" Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her"
1 Corinthians 11:3: "But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."
1 Timothy 5:8 "Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."
Nehemiah 4:14-" After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

Pastor Al was raised in the small mid-western town of Sioux Falls, SD. He grew up attending a Baptist Church and was baptized at 10 years old. He met Monica Romero in 2015 and they were happily married in 2017. They each have 3 children, and a total of 11 grandchildren. Pastor Al spent most of his life in business and contracting, but in 2024 he had an undeniable call from the Lord to enter into Ministry. He completed studies with the Christian Leaders Institute and is an Ordained Minister. He holds Officiant certifications/ordinations also in: Christian Wedding Officiant, Funeral Officiant, Licensed Ministry, Christian Ministry, Officiating Ministry, Romance Officiant, and Faith Officiating. He holds Licensed Ministry and Lay Ministry Ordinations as well. He has received the Christian Ministry and Christian Leaders Connection Awards.
Pastor Al's vision is simple- To lead a Church rooted with strong Christian Men who will lead their families, workplaces, Church, and community by the principles instructed by the Bible to be better Christian Men, Husbands, Fathers, Sons, and Leaders. Through the blossoming of this vision, he believed Armor of God Bible Church will be full of strong families, marriages, and faith in Christ.
